Announcing the SPI Pro Theme on StudioPress!

[ad_1]

For years, people have asked me to create a WordPress theme that is easy to use, effective, and looks great. In fact, between December 2013 and April 2016, I had hundreds of requests for the exact theme I was using before I radically upgraded SPI earlier this year.

I even found a few websites who ripped off the design of my previous theme, which was flattering, but also kind of sad because no one had asked for permission. Still, it was validation that it was a theme people wanted.

And trust me, I wanted to create that theme and distribute it myself, but theme development and distribution is an entirely new kind of business that involves a LOT of moving parts, including constant upgrades to serve new versions of WordPress, customer service, plugin compatibilities, and more. To sum it up, it just wasn’t in my wheelhouse and I didn’t want to lose focus on other projects that I already had in the works.

Then, earlier this year, I came to a realization that there was a way I could distribute the theme and still have all of those moving parts taken care of, and that’s why I’m incredibly excited to announce my recent partnership with StudioPress, an industry standard in premium WordPress themes and plugins, to help with the development and distribution of the SPI Pro Theme to anyone who wants access to it. [Full Disclosure: It should go without saying that I earn a commission on any links on this page to the theme that you use to make a purchase.]

StudioPress is owned by Brian Clark of CopyBlogger.com and RainMaker Digital, and StudioPress themes lay on top of the Genesis Framework which enables you to easily edit and customize the look and feel of your theme.

I’ve had a handful of themes and frameworks that I had once recommended to people, but many were just too complicated to get started with, and also too expensive. Now that the SPI theme is distributed through StudioPress, you can be sure that it will always stay up to date and have the customer service behind it to serve you when needed.

It’s perfect!

If you’d like to check it out, head on over to StudioPress, and you can even demo the theme too!

The theme is responsive, with both a tablet and mobile version. I’m in the process of putting together a video walkthrough and I’ll share that with you soon.

This theme isn’t for everyone, but for those looking to start out with a website design that works—one that was featured here on SPI for years—this will be perfect for you!

Click here to view the pricing details. It’s a one-time payment, and make sure to check out the demo too so you can see how it all works.

Cheers, and all the best to you!
