Nigerian Military in Action In Adamawa Towns

Nigerian troops have recently been fielding attacks against the Boko Haram sect in some town in Adamawa.
The pictures below of the troops’ activities in Gombi, Pelia, And Hong , were circulated through a press release from the Nigerian military, Saharareporters have provided.
The operation, which has been described as “Operation No Mercy Against Terrorists,” have been aimed at bringing an end to terrorism in the state.



 The pictures here are from the military operations in Gombi, Pelia and Hong in Adamawa State, where the Nigerian troops mercilessly dealt with the terrorists with the recovery of the towns as well as their destroyed vehicles, hideouts, weapons and ammunitions. While some of the terrorists have been captured alive others were killed in the operation. The Nigerian troops too could be seen in action.


The ongoing military operations in the North-Eastern Nigeria is to clear all areas infested by terrorists.
Mopping up exercise is ongoing in the areas while the troops are moving to other communities in what a top security officer described as ‘Operation No Mercy against Terrorists.”


A couple of days ago, it was reported that the Federal Government extended the state of emergency declared in the three north-eastern states Adamawa, Yobe and Borno, worst hit by Boko Haram violence.
Meanwhile Chief Edwin Clark and other elders under the aegis of  Congress for Equality and Change (CEC) have called the President Jonathan to sack some of the governors of Adamawa, Yobe and Borno States.
