Ceasefire Was A Money-Spinning Scam - Source

Another set of insinuations appeared regarding the alleged October 17 ceasefire deal with Boko Haram, with the insider source explaining it was a money-spinning scam involving top federal government officials.
The Cable reports with reference to its source that the recent negotiations, which were
believed to have been held in Chad with the insurgents, were not real ones adding that it was not the first time President Goodluck Jonathan had been deceived on the security issue. What is more, the government has been fleeced millions of dollars by Jonathan’s close aides, the source said.
It would be recalled that the widely-publicized October deal ended up in a complete failure, as the insurgents neither stopped the raids, nor released the Chibok girls, as it was contemplated in the agreement.

The first scam is dating back to 2013 when GEJ was hoodwinked into setting up the Committee on Dialogue and Peaceful Resolution of Security Challenges in the North, or Boko Haram Amnesty Committee.
