Hey, writers! Whether you’re a freelancer, an employee, or you write content to support your business, you might find it beneficial to have Copyblogger publicly declare: “This person has a terrific writing voice and rock-solid grasp of content strategy.”
If that sounds good to you, go check out our Certified Content Marketers program before we close enrollment next week.
(If you’re a member of our Authority community, make sure you log in to get your substantial member discount.)
Now then, on to the week’s content …
On Monday, Stefanie Flaxman gave some practical advice on how to impress and score your next freelance writing client. And she talks about why setting expectations can be a surprisingly magical secret to strong client relationships. (This post uses freelancing for the specifics, but this advice works for bosses and employees, too!)
On Tuesday, Kelton Reid offered us a wealth of ideas on how to weave powerful stories into our work, taken from three different types of successful content producers. If the “how to” of storytelling is challenging for you, this will spark some solid ideas. (Bonus points for use of the word hooptedoodle.)
And on Wednesday, I dropped a few more specifics about this year’s Certified Content Marketers program. If you’d ever considered applying to be on our list of recommended writers, this is how you get there.
Enrollment closes next week on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time, and we’re unlikely to re-open before late 2019, so don’t procrastinate. 🙂
On Copyblogger FM, we ran an encore episode about not chasing great prospects away with “used car salesman” techniques. There’s a better way! (I mention sales expert Tim Paige in that podcast … Tim will also teach a bonus workshop for us inside Certification this year.)
That’s it for this week!
