The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), yesterday, February 9, 2015, announced the extension of the deadline for the collection of permanent voters cards (PVCs) to March 8. However some Nigerians believe that the shift in the deadline is attended by many questions.
One of which is a certain (@DEDEAN), a Twitter user who exposed two INEC officials for allegedly charging him, and others who wanted to collect their PVC cards, N50.
According to him, the incident occurred at the Ogudu GRA Ward 43 in Lagos State. He also shared several pictures of the female INEC officials who reportedly demanded the amount from him.

Meanwhile, unconfirmed reports say there is a plan by the federal government to dismiss the chairman of the INEC, Attahiru Jega, and replace him with the recent former vice chancellor of Adekunle Ajasin University, Professor Femi Mimiko, who is the younger brother of Ondo State Governor, Olusegun Mimiko.
