Be Detailed


Before committing to a new purchase without being able to physically touch it, consumers want complete information. It can often be the lack of a specific detail that results in a missed sale or failed conversion. In order to make sure you cover absolutely everything, your product details should include the following things (depending on what products are for sale, of course)


  • Expected delivery period to the customer’s location

  • Product availability

  • Discount offer or price guarantee

  • A detailed description including any specific badges or markings that establish trust

  • Fitting instructions or size chart for apparel

You need to ensure you highlight security features of your e-commerce store by showing messages such as security logos, SSL encryption, and private messages. You also need to make it simple and clear to input information. Make every key detail related to the shopping experience as crystal clear. A great idea is to include contact information and numbers as this showcases both reliability and transparency. It is also recommended to utilize a third-party payment integration to bolster security, credibility, and to handle any disputes that may arise between the e-commerce store and the customer. A couple favorite products for accepting online payments include PayPal and Stripe.
